Overgrown Garden Clearance and One-Off Big Jobs

An overgrown garden is the most common clearance job we take on. Brambles, ivy, self-seeded saplings, knee-high grass, and whatever else has moved in over a couple of unmanaged years. We clear the lot back to bare soil or whatever surface is underneath, take all the cuttings and green waste off site, and leave the garden in a state where it can be replanted, returfed, or simply maintained from there.

We bring the right kit for the job. Brush cutters and strimmers for heavy growth. Chainsaws for the bigger self-seeded trees and woody material. A mini-digger if the garden has sleepers, old structures, or significant ground to lift, with the spoil and waste disposed of through our own grab hire service on the same visit where it makes sense. Where the clearance turns up established trees that need professional removal rather than self-seeded saplings — felling, reductions, stump grinding — our sister business Pearson Tree Services handles that side from the same Uxbridge base, so it can be coordinated alongside the clearance rather than booked as a separate job.

End-of-Tenancy, Probate, and Pre-Sale Clearances

Beyond overgrown gardens, we handle clearances tied to property transactions. End-of-tenancy clearances where the garden needs to be returned to a lettable state. Probate properties where the executor needs the garden cleared alongside the rest of the house. Pre-sale clearances where the garden is the thing pulling viewings down and a tidy reset would lift the asking price.

These jobs often come with deadlines, and we work to them. We'll come and look quickly, give you a clear quote including waste removal, and book the work in. We've done enough probate and end-of-tenancy clearances to know what the receiving party (landlord, agent, buyer's surveyor) is going to flag, and we'll point those things out before we start so you can decide what's in scope.

How Much Does It Cost to Clear an Overgrown Garden?

Garden clearance pricing depends on three things: how big the garden is, how badly overgrown it is, and how much waste comes out at the end. A small back garden with a few years of growth is straightforward. A larger property with decades of accumulated growth, old structures, or heavy woody material takes considerably longer and produces a lot more waste to dispose of.

We don't quote clearance jobs sight unseen because the variables matter too much. Send us a few photos via WhatsApp and we'll give you a rough idea, then we'll come and look properly before committing to a price. The quote always includes the waste disposal so you don't get a separate bill from a removals firm at the end.

Garden Clearance Across West London

We carry out garden clearances across Uxbridge , West London, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, and Hertfordshire, including Ealing, Chiswick, Hammersmith, Holland Park, Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross, and the surrounding areas. Domestic gardens, rental properties, probate clearances, and pre-sale resets all in scope.

What Happens to the Waste?

All the waste we generate from a clearance job leaves with us. Green waste (cuttings, prunings, soil mixed with roots) goes for recycling at a licensed waste transfer station. Old fence panels, sleepers, sheds, and other structural waste go to the appropriate facility. We're a registered waste carrier, which means the disposal route is documented and legal, with waste transfer notes available on request.

For larger clearances we use our own grab hire service on the same visit. The grab loads directly off the garden and onto the lorry, which saves hours of bagging and tipping by hand and keeps the cost reasonable. For smaller jobs the waste comes out in our vehicle and goes through the same disposal route.

After the Clearance

Once a garden has been cleared, the next question is what to do with it. For some clients the answer is nothing else: the cleared state is enough, and the garden gets handed back to the property owner or the next tenant. For others, the clearance is the first stage of a wider plan.

If you're planning to bring the garden back into use, our maintenance service picks up where the clearance ends. If you want to rebuild the garden properly, our landscaping service covers the design, build, and finish. Either way the clearance gives you a usable starting point rather than the overgrown chaos you started with.
